Understanding the business matters the most!!

Experience will definitely help but I dont think its a thumb rule. Any person who has a basic competency level in understanding business should be good. Unless you do not understand the business you will never know where its applications are and for that you just need the SMARTS to guide you through to your customers.

Developing the business needs understanding of the business more than experience. Thanks for the referral!

Experience Matters can help smooth the way by:

  • Developing and delivering a first class communication program
  • Helping you with best practice project management
  • Planning and delivering training

EM can also help with calculating and communicating the benefits of the change to the organisation.

I go with this proverb.

Big jobs usually go to the men
who prove their ability to outgrow small ones.

I feel that performance is, in a very real sense, a subset of experience. A good performer usually has quality experience. Consequently, they both matter in proper perspective.

Now things are different. If you are an innovative in your line that the strength where you can rule. It dosent matter how much experienced you are. Strategy Statics and approch that matters while dealing the Business. For this need not have to be Experienced.

You dont need to spend 10 years to know, what are the things to avoid. things dont work, things work.

if you are a visionary , you have a courage to back your idea's, you have analytical and lateral thinking, proactive, street smart with good english, ready to innovate and try---

Mostly you will be successful  and chance to outgrow is higher, compare to exp person as he develops a certain belief , so boundary and comfort zones.
