No matter whatever they do, they can never overtke Google's well establish search engine market. Still people like Google's survive in terms of search engine more than Bing or Yahoo in spite of Bing's attractive features...

I belive microsoft itself knew, that it wont be able to end market leadership of google, but definately they can try to cut in few percents of share and only gains to microsoft can be removing tag of 'God' from image of google, which is heavily trying to use this image-tag to challenge m$ in its turf of Os, Office and mobile os.

I don't think even with the combined effort from yahoo & microsoft can effect google interms of search even though bing is getting popular these days with its visual search and all but i don' think it will affect google interms of search.

Shobhit, i have the same views as your... but i also think yahoo + MS = more damage to google than this... since so many years we have been using MS product but once we got some thing new n helpful...we got diverted not 100% but to some extent.... but this can be also other way round...bing has created such a hype that i have started trying it....so may others laso... the best n bigger will wing...

I think Bing is getting popular these days and surely it will give google a run for its money with its new search techniques and google with its same old design of search is not so interesting anymore and the team up from microsoft and yahoo is a good one, so this new change will give google some sleepless nights in future for sure.
